Yayy!

Wayyhayyy! I'm back!!!! Well you'll never believe this Bloggettes... I hope you're all sitting down because this is a real shocker.... I've been abducted by aliens! Yes that's right, they came down beamed me and whisked me away. Yep I got beamed up into that little flying saucer and whoosh away we went...... See I said you wouldn't believe me didn't I? ;))

So what have I been up to? Well allsorts - I don't seem to have had a minute!

Part of my time was taken up making lots of these little beauties, yummy huh?

Oh and then this little sweetie for this weeks challenge over at Totally Gorjuss. This week I asked for 'wings'. Oh and wings on ladies personal 'thingies' don't count ;))

This is one of my favourite Sweet Pea Fairies - I think she is lush! I've Copic'd her, used some Bo Bunny (love that name) papers, Prima flowers, punched flowers and sparkly swirl.

Oh the more observant among you may have noticed that I've finally fathomed out how to crop my photos! I mean that's pretty quick for me.... a year or so.... yep for me pretty quick!

Now for the Harry fans (Tinker is STILL is in bitey britches mode) a little treat for the Harry fans out there.

Every morning she, well both of them, spend ages preening. I find it fascinating to watch. All those feathers have to be done just so! Well she's just getting herself going when she hears something.... you can see her listening! Then she asks 'whoisit'! Oh all the other little whistles and what have you's is the Hooligan aka Tinker who was safely ensconced in the kitchen with Big L!

Round and round

Hi there bloggettes from deepest Shropshire! Well it might not be the deepest but it certainly feels it when your car touches the hedges on both sides of the road! And there's some 'interesting' bends too!

So I thought I'd how you my effort for this weeks challenge over at Totally Gorjuss. This week we needs circles on your card. So it can be on the paper, die cuts, round card..... anything circular will do!

I immediately thought of this little beauty from Sweet Pea Stamps. As a bonus she has a circle behind her, then there was the round nestability I used to cut her out, there's circles on the papers so I'm ahead shed loads!

Naturally she's been coloured with my trusty Copics. Papers are some I've had forever from K and Co er Addison I think they're called.

Oh and here's my arty shot!

Pop over to Totally Gorjuss and see the lovely cards the DT girls have made. There's loads of ways you can get a circle on your work!

W.O.Y.W.D.W and W.O.M.C.T?

Oh my its that time of the week again! Which means its Wednesday in case you're wondering ;)) Which means its time to pop over to Julia's blog for WOYWDW! Julia's looks fairly tidy to me! As do lots of the others too. I don't know some of you think you can do messy.... not like I can you can't!

So if you're of a nervous disposition you might like to prepare yourself by sitting down and taking a few deep breaths.... there are you calm?.....

Ready?

Et voilĂ !

See I told you it was a proper mess didn't I? Now my H2O's aren't usually just randomly chucked on my desk. As if! I mean what do you take me for? I had to move them out of a box to make room for my new distress ink pads. I still need a new home for them.... The home will still be here before anyone offers. I just need a box or something....

Actually that's quite a big space on there for me. I mean it must be almost 10" square. How did that happen?

So while I was in such a brave mood I did a quick sweep with the camera as I stubbed my toe on a box of paper on the lower storage area. OK then yes it was the floor ~sniggers~

This is one of the cupboards.... See there's hardly anything in it..... What you can't see is the box of ribbons on the floor which stops the door closing.... er its next to the paper I did me toe on...

Now the observant one among you may have wondered what on earth W.O.M.C.T means? Any guesses? Well it stands for What's On My Cooker Tonight! Easy did you get that? No? I'm surprised!

Now this is what's on my cooker tonight...

How's that for a chocolate cake then? Yes that is yummy chocolate icing covering it. Oh and its a BIG cake too! Lucky old me is off on a retreat so I thought I'd take a little cake along...

So pop over to Julia's and see if there's any more cookers on there!

Oh my!

Oh my! Can you remember me saying that someone stole a couple of days last week? Well whoever it was came back and stole the whole of this week! That's what lots of golf does for you. Its good fun but it takes up lots of time. Oh and add some cooking in and that's lots of time gone.

On the plus side I have won a fair bit so I'm not complaining too much ;)) Well I am actually. Its been so blinking cold! I've had to dig out my winter togs.

In the midst of all this busyness I had time to make my card for this weeks Totally Gorjuss challenge. This week its pink and green which I always think is quite summery. Well we need something don't we? It certainly isn't the weather that's summery for sure.

So this is my little make for the challenge.

I got this lovely 'Magical Tilda' from Bunny Zoes - you know how you 'have to' don't you? Well I coloured her with Copics, and added papers from Doodlebug and MME. Oh and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Pop over and check out the other DT cards - they're fab. Oh there's a prize of some beautiful papers too.

Stitched up!

Hiya Bloggettes - I need your help!

Do you remember last week when I said someone had been in and stolen a day? Well the rotten things have been back and stolen a whole week! Eeeps! I mean whatever will they take next? A whole month?? Where will I be then? Other than in June (obviously) as its now May. I've just no idea where the time went to - nor any particular ideas of what I've been doing. In my defence I have had a touch of 'man flu', obviously nowhere near as severe as he who gave to me who shall not be named, no my darling beloved I shall not tell it was you! I mean you had to stay in bed while afternoon everyday.....

Still on a lighter note (thank goodness you cry) over at Totally Gorjuss a new challenge has been set. This week stitching is required. This can be real of fake/faux/pretend/drawn or whatever you like to call it. Now sewing has never been my friend! I could tell you about the time I made some curtains.... Lets just say I've only ever made the one pair ;))

Now for mine I used this cute little boy from Lili of the Valley I think he's so cute! (and so are their new images too!) So he was Copic'd and I chose the backing paper and stuck him on..... then I realised my fake stitching wouldn't show up on the paper I'd chosen! Hence the little hearts and stars down the side. Well you have to have something there don't you? Flowers don't really work for boys cards!

More of the dotty background - sorry I still can't remember whose blog i saw it on! Pop on over for a look-see. This week there's a prize from Joanna Sheen.

Oh its Gorjuss!

Hi there Bloggettes.

ITS BEEN SUNNY!!!

Ahem! Sorry for shouting but I'm a bit pleased about that. Saying that I've new apple trees to plant and some grass seed to sow.... so a spot of rain might be OK. Only at night though. We thought we'd try to get a bit of grass growing in what is laughingly called the lawn or moss patch. I don't know if I dare try moss killer on it.... then it wouldn't be at all green though! Enough of my gardening dilemmas ;))

I've just launched a new challenge over at Totally Gorjuss. This week we want to see a Gorjuss Girl on the entries. Oh and we have a special sponsor this week (they're all special of course) But this one is Suzanne Woolcott the clever lady who draws the Gorjuss Girls! How fantastic is that? Yes really fantastic! Suzanne is giving a prize from her shop - even fantastic-er! So come on over for a look and get your Gorjuss Girls out!

So A couple of photos of my little effort.

This little girl with her teddy is one of my favourites. She's been coloured with Copics. The papers are MME 'Quite Contrary' and came from The Hobby House, The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts The gingham paper is a Pink Petticoat download - total bargain! Tons of colours of ginghams for very few pennies! I've printed it out on Rymans bright white coated card-stock which gives a lovely finish. Sentiment stamp from Dies to Die For, a spot of punching a la Martha Stewart and voilĂ !

Now you may or may not have noticed the background to this little cutie. The spots... no its not your eyes! Now I saw this on someones blog - I'm sorry I can't remember who's it was!

Anyway I thought it looked nice (well theirs certainly did) so I had a go - I think I may need some practice! But hey we all have to start somewhere right?

The now obligatory arty shot ;))

And as a special treat.... another arty shot - wow huh?

I hope no ones fainted at the excitement of two arty shots.

So have a super weekend Bloggettes.

W.S.W? I.W.O.M.D.S!!!

W.S.W?I.W.O.M.DS!!!

OK I bet you're looking at that thinking what on earth is she on about now??? Well its simple really.... Its Who Stole Wednesday? Its What's On My Desk Sunday!!! See I told you it was easy ;))

So firstly I had a new stamp pop through my letterbox from the lovely Tracy at Dies to Die For I saw this little sweetie and thought I had to have her! She's such fun. She also said to black and red! So that's what I did. Copic'd and then I added black and red stickles for the frou-frous on her skirt. Paper from Basic Grey, that's almost the last of my Scarlet Letter pad - that has to be one of my all time favourites. If you see any please tell me! Now I've entered her in the challenge over at Simon says Stamp where the theme is 'Movies' the movie for this can can girl is Moulin Rouge.

Oh flowers are Primas and a few branches a la Martha Stewart.

Oh and the obligatory arty shot for all you fans %-))

Now as I said someone stole Wednesday this week, oh and a few other days as well. What do they do with them I'd like to know.

So I thought I'd show you what's on my desk....

Well seeing as I'd finished my can-can lady there's my new favourite glue. Collall in a bottle! Its fab! Stickles and Pinflair glue gel, another new favourite.

And then just to the other side are these little babies!

Drool ladies drool! These beauties are from Wild Orchid Crafts I love the gardenias and they now have packs of roses in contrasting shades. I'm sure you need some too.

So have fun bloggettes.
