Hah!

At last! Blogger played and let my candy stay at the top!

So here is my effort for weeks challenge over at Cute Daisy May Challenge This week its monotone. I had to sneak in a smidgeon of pink though! I think a tiny bit is allowed though. ;)) Also up for grabs is a new DT spot - fancy your chance? Come on over and have a look.

So this week I've used one of the new Gorguss Girls - and isn't she gorgeous? I also cut into more of my new Making Memories Black Tie paper, a little punching with EK Success punches, Prima flowers, a dangly charm and a few stick on gems. I must admit I'm rather pleased with her. The paper at the back does have a pattern on - it shows up if you click on the pic ;))

Here we have a sunset.... this was the view from our apartment balcony while we were in Florida. ~sigh~ Fabulous ins't it?
A view up the beach towards Honeymoon Island - not as romantic as it sounds!
And a view just forwards! I'm so imaginative eh?
Don't fret there are more pictures to come. How many can YOU cope with? I know Blogger can't...

Wet parrots and Cute Daisy may!

Hi Bloggettes! A treat for you today, wet parrots - a treat for Gez and my DT entry for the Cute Daisy May Challenge. You can find all the DT entries here Aren't they smashing?

Naturally I have got my babies pictures first! Silly Blogger did put them all on twice for some reason.... usually he doesn't want to put any on. So double is a bonus I suppose.

First we have Tinker - she's just had a bath and is getting dry on her Daddy's shoulder. She doesn't really have a back like a stegosaurus!

Harry decided to snub the offer of a towel and opted to get dry in the sun while making sure no other birds came into her garden! 'Hmmm I might have to think what I'm going to do next?'

'Hey blackbird! get out of MY garden!' She doesn't miss much you know!

Finally! My card for this weeks challenge - we had to have something hidden. Now this was well out of my usual parameters! As usual when I wanted it my Mojo had decided to go AWOL. Little swine! So I sat and scratched my head for a bit.... like you do.... I had a look through my Daisy May images and picked this one - isn't she sweet? She was already coloured, Copics of course dahliing! ;)) So I decided to dive in! In a flurry of glue and paper this is what I came up with.
My hidden sentiment is the little flap that drops down - little blighter decided it preferred to be down though! I gave it a good creasing and threatened it with the scissors and hopefully it will behave now. Well when its dry anyway!
So there you are Bloggettes - are you going to come and play?

Sniff sniff

Sniff sniff Bloggettes. I have yet another stinking cold! Courtesy of my OM. Isn't he kind sharing his germs with me? I feel pretty bleurgh! Quite a good description of it I think!

So what have I been up to? Well not much as I feel bleurgh! lol So last night I settled down with my copics, tissues and Day Nurse and had a colouring session. Nothing too strenuous for me. So what did I come up with?

Well the first card is using one of the images from the new Lets Play Dolls House CD from Helping Hands Templates. The image is of a church interior and I thought I'd take a different slant and made it into a sympathy card. I quite like it but I think my sentiment is a tad large for the size of the card. I might remove it later!

A few obligatory Prima flowers in the corner with Martha Stewart branches. The dots aren't brads but are Craftwork cards Jellytots. A pretend brad in effect.
On the same CD are some doodle images that Linnie has drawn. This is little Daisy May - isn't she sweet? She is available on the same CD or as a download from here. There are several sets to choose from. Again she's been Copic'd :)) A Nestie background which has also been through a Cuttlebug folder.
Oops Primas in the corner again! lol
So Bloggettes I'm just off to throttle Harry who's decided now is a good time to shout her head off! She does slip in a 'who's a beauty' in mid shout though. I wonder who she means?....
